MAC Styleseeker Powder Blushes in Worldly Wealth, Hidden Treasure |
The MAC Styleseeker collection features three powder blushes, called Worldly Wealth, Hidden Treasure and Supercontinental ("Bright Cute Coral"). Of the three, only the former two interested me.

MAC Styleseeker Worldly Wealth L -> R: Heavy swatch, Buffed-out |
Worldly Wealth is described by MAC as "Shimmering Peachy Bronze" and has a frost finish. This is a very shimmery (almost metallic) bronze with golden orange undertones. It's a wonderful highlight for darker skins, or I can see it being a fantastic summer "sunkissed glow" shimmery bronzer. It's a strange choice for a fall shade, but given the orange undertones, I can see where MAC is going with this (it really does complement Hidden Treasure quite nicely). It is really soft, pigmented and blends beautifully with no trouble.

MAC Styleseeker Hidden Treasure L -> R: Heavy swatch, Buffed-out |
Hidden Treasure is described by MAC as "Rich Burnt Red". This has a satin finish, but I did find it a bit of a dryer texture than most of the other satin shades I've used - it needs a light hand and a dual fibre brush, and needs to be built-up and buffed-out gradually, to avoid it looking patchy on the skin. It's a slightly-rusty slightly-berry red and highly pigmented, and has the tiniest hint of gold shot through it (not enough to make it frosted, just enough to make it interesting).

And... the two together |
This is where I love them; built on top of each other. Given that Hidden Treasure is harder to blend-out, I suggest applying this on top of Worldly Wealth, but either that or applying Worldly Wealth on top works nicely. You get a lovely faintly bronzed somewhat frosted but highly pigmented result that will last you for about seven-eight hours. Not one I'll use at 06h30 when I'm in a hurry(!), but definitely yum.
