Chanel's latest liquid eyeliner (pen format). My new BFF and E and E... |
This stuff is really lovely. Sorry, becuz cheap it ain't. €33.50 will net you one of these beauties, which in my very humble opinion, is slightly Taking The P*** for an eyeliner. That said, I took advantage of a bunch of BT points and snapped it up for a fraction of that, and well, I wanted to try it... in the interest of reporting back to you guys, of course. Ahem...
So why is this stuff so great?

why |
This took me seconds... mere seconds. Yeah yeah, ignore the lack of concealer and bad brows...
(and with slightly better brows and some mascara...) |
Swipedy-swipe, done. No going over and back and over and back to get it nice and opaque.
This is also why:
L -> R: 2 x a la Carte Intense Liner, 2 x Chanel Ecriture liner, 3 x l'Oreal Perfect Slim liner (Chanel - the 2 in the middle. Lovely and black) |
Super blackedy-black. Really pigmented, really opaque.
This is also why:
Fantastic nib - great control of the liquid, no skipping, nice flow, great movement, just the right amount of flexible-but-firm.
The finish is every so slightly glossy. It lasts and lasts and lasts. They are very much a liquid liner in pen delivery format though, so they remain wet for a minute or so - so beware on application to avoid your eyeliner getting tattoo'd on your crease (keep looking down until they're dry). Once they've dried, they don't budge.
