Pick, Pack, Pamper: Travel Size Treats!

Am a complete and utter sucker for smaller versions of "normal sized stuff".  It's kinda pathetic, but I just love having "official" branded travel sized items for my holidays.  I mean, I want to truck around my usual stash, I really don't want to edit it down, but I don't want all the hassle and bulk and weight of the fullsized versions.

So - for the summer, you'll find French brands Vichy, La Roche-Posay and Roger & Gallet all producing itsy bitsy teeny tiny iconic items to protect your skin en route to your holiday destination.

La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water
50ml for € 4

The Thermal Spring Water is unique to the La Roche-Posay dermatological skincare ranges and it is the basic ingredient in all the products. It is unique by virtue of its composition and the fact that it contains the highest concentration of the potent anti-free radical selenium of any water in the world (an ingredient essential to the prevention of skin ageing and UV damage).  Thermal Spring Water is also highly healing, soothing and decongesting.  La Roche-Posay is specifically designed for sensitive, intolerant, or delicate skin types. This is a nice pocket-sized version of the Thermal Water mist.

Vichy Aqualia Eyes Roll-On
15ml for € 18

While I haven't used this one, I did use the previous Aqualia version and I have to say, it's pretty amazing at cooling down your eyes, relaxing and de-puffing them, assisting with dehydration and the tired eyes that come from long air travel or hot dry weather in foreign climes.  I really only use mine when I'm away, I have no cause to use it here unfortunately, but it's highly recommended (I discovered it at a family wedding "away foreign" some years ago, and I managed to convert a few others to it at the time).

Roger & Gallet Hand & Nail Cream
30ml for € 6.50

I have been using the rose one for a while now and I just love it.  I get bored of hand creams pretty easily but I've almost used this up, and "hitting pan", as they say, really doesn't happen chez moi very much!  There are three scents available - Crème Sublime, Rose and Fleur D’Osmanthus.  At less than seven quid for a pretty decent hand cream, and in a nice handbag-friendly size, this is a nice won't-break-the-bank treat.

All three brands are available in pharmacies nationwide, Roger & Gallet is also available in Marks & Spencer Beauty Hall.
